Drawn to iPad: Quick Color for Mr Mummy...
Real ink brush can still do a better job…
But with iPad there's no limit when trying different color combinations…
And you can do it almost anywhere..

Pop arts for Mr. Mummy...
Some color play for Mr. Mummy…
iPad + SketchBook Apps…
You don't need to color neatly inside the lines…
Mess it up the way you want…
If you care for some fine edges,
Clean it up before you show to anyone…

Avatars...
These were proposed avatars for CPU boyz comics characters…
I thought I'd lost these, other members are still in pencil on my sketchpad somewhere…
Hmmn, how about some colors on iPad…?

A cartoon character part 2...
He got tired of his long hair…
Drawn on iPad... Got a new 3M smart pen, it's much better to use than my finger when drawing on iPad.

The Dog which is not...
My favorite comic strip character, Polgas by idol Pol.
I got the books from book 1 to 21, only I can't find the issue no 10.
I still read them from time to time.
Digital inking using Adobe Illustrator CS2, still learning to use its functions.
Digital painting using Photoshop CS.
These versions are too old but seldom used to consider buying the latest one.

…there goes my Saturday cycling...
Elnot enjoys kicking the real ball on the real field.
At least it diverts him a bit from wii, psp, computer games, and other video games.
The deal is, I will send him there as long as he likes it.
He likes it and so nice seeing him enjoy the training.
And since it's every Saturday, I have to sell my road bike away...

Ohh I see, missed it...
Elnot: "Daddy can you show me how to draw McDonalds on your iPad...?"
Daddy: "McDonalds? How do you want me to draw it, I mean which one, chicken nuggets?"
Elnot: "Not food, McDonalds."
Daddy: "Ahh, okey.." (while showing Elnot, I quickly draw the McDonalds' front landmark)
Daddy: "Okay, here it's done."
Elnot: "Ei Daddy, you forgot something, can I draw over your drawing?"
Daddy: "Okey, no, try to draw your own."
Elnot: "Okay, let me do it..."
(after a few minutes, he showed me his completed drawing...)
Daddy: "Oh yah, I'm lovin' it.

Do you like my shirt?
One of the good things about having my targeted shape is, I could be a T-shirt model. Maybe I'll open up my own T-shirt printing company. What should I call it, "The Green Shirts"? Hmmn, does that sounds edible shirt? Anybody heard of edible shirts?
For those who might be interested, here are some simple steps on how to draw on iPad:
(You must have a drawing apps that at least support layer…)
1) Draw a rough sketch then, using another layer trace it to have a cleaner sketch...
2) Using new layer, draw the final outline by tracing your cleaner sketch...
3) Another layer, color it the way you want, you can use your big toe if you want...
4) Clean it up using eraser tool...
5) Stretch your arms/legs then color sa-moh if you want, then clean it up again...
6) Yup, it's done, and don't forget to delete unwanted layers… blink your eyes and think for sa-moh things you can add in, maybe a background or… watevahyuwant. If you got cornered, use Photoshop. Enjoy!

My new year's resolution...
Here are the top on my list, listed them down before new year:
- Six-pack abdomen before end of this year (see figure above :-))
- I will exercise regularly and take balance diet (goodbye high blood pressure and gout)
- Spend less on excess foods and unimportant things (I will pay my credit card first)
- I will organize all my digital pictures & videos
- … the rest are confidential
I actually promised to post this on the first day of new year.
(I showed this illustration to the kids and the conversation went like this…
Mikko: "That thing belongs to a giant, not for you Dad…"
Daddy: "Oh then I must erase this, like this."
Elnot: "Ei Daddy, you don't like your drawing that's why you erased?"
Daddy: "No, it doesn't seem funny, I tot it was…"
Elnot: "How about you draw a donkey biting your thing, it's funnier…" (wide-eyed, silently laughing)
Daddy: "Ha ha ha ha…"
Mikko: (left to continue playing...)
Daddy: "Ha ha ha ha…"
Elnot: "Is it funny Daddy?" (left to continue playing…)
Daddy: "Ha ha ha ha…"
(Silent...)

Trying it out doing a bit of details...
I'm using Sketchbook PRO apps for iPad and just starting to learn using its different tools and functions. It's quite fun to do clean-up using my finger eraser (without saliva of course), and it can be sharpened ha ha, the only difficulty is to see through my finger nail to make sure if I'm touching the desired point.
This iPad is very quiet and will silently respond to the softest finger-stroke according to the pencil/brush settings. Do you think I'm gonna missed my sketchbook which react differently when I do it softer or harder? I guess so… see how lah.

Mikko with his brown teeth… :-)
And this is Mikkel's iPad portrait, I find it a bit difficult to do small drawing details on iPad and I'm too lazy to watch those tutorials in youtube on how to draw with iPad. I may start looking for Drawing-on-iPad reference or I'll just try to look for finger sharpener.
Hey, I need finger sharpener, anyone?? My right index...

Elnot with yellow hair...
The first drawing I did on iPad, the outline is a quick free-hand trace over Ehlrondt's picture. Now, this is a very handy tracing pad.
I will practice more and maybe the job of picking things from inside my nose will be handed over to my left index finger… :-)

Drawn to iPad
Bought an iPad a few weeks back. Thought it would be my new sketchpad where I can quickly sketch those drawing ideas anytime. Yes I can, but I still like the feel of pencil roughly grinding on paper. And I still love my rubber eraser!
But using iPad:
- I have a magic finger that can emulate different types of pencils and brushes
- I can forget about my wastebasket full of crumpled irreparable drawings
- I can still use my fingertip to erase but definitely not with my saliva on it! :p
