Drawn to iPad

Bought an iPad a few weeks back. Thought it would be my new sketchpad where I can quickly sketch those drawing ideas anytime. Yes I can, but I still like the feel of pencil roughly grinding on paper. And I still love my rubber eraser!

But using iPad:
- I have a magic finger that can emulate different types of pencils and brushes
- I can forget about my wastebasket full of crumpled irreparable drawings
- I can still use my fingertip to erase but definitely not with my saliva on it! :p

And now it's colored… (Mr. Mommy)

After applying a medium ink brush...



And then my colored pencils, and a bit of digital touch ups...

Water Color quick whips...

A quick watercolor brushstrokes to test whether my ten-year old watercolors still can be used. Tubes are harder but these can still be used...

As per requested by the two boys...

"Daddy, can you also draw Mr. Mommy...??"

After I finished the drawing, I asked Elon to show it to mommy to get what she has to say.

"Daddy, mommy said she doesn't have that thick eyebrows and long neck..."

"Ei, go and tell mommy she owes me some eyebrows and neck..."

Elon just looked at me in disbelief, "HUH!?"

Milang in few colors...

The shades make it easier to draw the eyes, he he he.

It's really good to have "undo" function that can let you go back to simpler and not so messed up state.

A quick picture trace using a Wacom tablet. I still can't get the same feel as when using real pencil and paper. Really must use it more often...
