I heard them calling this as "Lagundrina" and I stick to this name. I'm not sure if it's actually "La Curtina" or "di kurtina". This is my favorite kite.

Kids want big wheels too...
One Saturday night, Amapo came home from work with his usual big bag, but this time it is heavier. He called me to show me something. WOW!! Two big wheels, that what's the bamboo for he's fitting the other weekend. He didn't sleep until he finished assembling it and I've been longing for the cockcrow even before he finished it. It's a big show off tomorrow.

Garboy Again
He hates seeing garbage, especially a smokey mountain piled of trashes... and he hates those people causing wasteful garbage, if you're one, he will dump you in a smokey mountain, then leave you there alive...

GarBoy
Proposal for a game character.
He was dumped into a third world country's smokey garbage mountain, was saved by a kind hearted garbage truck driver. He was bought and smuggled by a crazy doctor/scientist eager to experiment some new discoveries. Revived into good health and repaired some physical defects. Now GarBoy is on a mission... ABANGAN!!

You need a longer string...
A kite is a flying tethered object that depends upon the tension of a tethering system. (wiki) Guryon, saranggola, bulador... these are the general terms we used to call it in my home barrio. I used to like flying kites so much I can't stop till sunset. I'm actually always looking forward to fly kites every time I go to my hometown. We also have model name for each type and make of our kite, we call this one "Pupuwitin".

I still think she looks like Alice Dixon...
A office mate whom I always liken to Alice Dixon. This unfinished drawing doesn't look like her, but this is actually a collection of small efforts every lunch break so I kept it.

Yes, this could be the same lady..., it's on the next page of the sketchbook, she looks sad also, maybe because she can't see me too.

Sketch of a Lady
During university time, I love doodling side profile of a human face and I remember a friend commented, "How come you always draw a sad face...?" Only then I noticed, and digging through my sketchbooks I can't find any smiling side profile. Hmmn, maybe because they can't see me...
Yes, I will try to do it and post here.
